shortly after team canada rocked the socks off norway, i caught the russia-latvia game with my dad.
i loved the crowd's constant cheer of "latvia! latvia!" although it did start to sound like more of a taunt than a cheer after so many goals for the russians and none for the latvians... but we all know what a strong team russia has with players like this (ovchenko):
it's going to get very exciting when it comes time for these top teams to compete against one another... i can't wait to cheer on team canada some more!
and congrats to north van's own maelle ricker on her gold!
