Happy Thanksgiving!

It may not technically be until tomorrow, but my family is celebrating it today so I've spent all day cooking. This was my big accomplishment today:


a beautiful apple pie! I also made a pumpkin pie yesterday:


It turned out pretty good despite some near disasters with the pie crust (which I made from scratch for only the second time ever), one of which ended with me getting a pretty bad burn on my forearm. No pictures of that, it's pretty gross! But at least I managed to save the pie :).
